The Model 302850 2-Channel Gate Receiver, designed specifically for gate operator applications, operates within a voltage range of 12 to 24V. It features an 11-inch wire whip antenna to ensure effective local reception, easily connected to the receiver via a Type-F antenna connector. For installations where the receiver is housed inside a shielded metal enclosure, such as within a gate operator unit, the package includes a 3-foot coax cable along with a bulkhead connector. This allows for the whip antenna to be conveniently mounted at a remote location.

Additionally, users have the option to utilize an external Model 106603 Remote Whip Antenna with the receiver for improved reception. The Model 302850 also operates on dual frequencies, offering flexibility through an internal jumper that allows users to choose between 300 MHz and 310 MHz. The 300 MHz frequency is fully compatible with standard Multi-Code transmitters, whereas the 310 MHz frequency is designed for use with Stanley Multicodes.

Programming the receiver is facilitated by a 9-position coding switch. This switch allows for setting a specific code, which must match the code on an activated transmitter for the receiver to trigger the gate operator. Additionally, transmitter switch #10 is used to designate which channel on the receiver will be activated, providing users with further control over their gate operation.
